About
Meet Your Engineer
Ameer Abdul-Malik is an audio engineer, producer, and recording artist, and the engineer behind B.E.F., which stands for Back End Family. B.E.F. is an artist-led studio, so you get someone who understands both sides of the mic: what it takes to deliver a take, and what it takes to make that take sound right.
You get personal attention from start to finish. We listen to what you are going for, work with you instead of over you, and keep the focus on your sound.
It is a private studio, which keeps sessions relaxed and focused. Come record, or send your files and we will mix and master them remotely.
